Greetings blues fans. This years Murphysboro BluesFest will not take place, as funds from the city merchants and Murphysboro government was not available.
The Murphysboro Mayor has advised me that funds may be available for the festival in 2008. We sure hope this will become reality, as the blues fest is a great event for the Southern Illinois region.
This year I have been working with the Musicians Gallery and the
City of Benton, Illinois on a great festival event to take place at TWIN OAKS at Benton Lake on Friday & Saturday September
28th & 29th.
